The warp and weft yarns are uniquely fitted together to create a unique texture and volume. Silk for the warp yarns and cotton for the weft yarns are used to create this beautiful space and transparency.
This scarf is woven with patterns and colors by the French textile designer Mathilde Brégeon, with a translucent effect created by the intertwining weave.

About the vendor
Established in the 1950’s, we specialize in Karami-ori weaving, a very traditional see-through, gaze-like type of woven fabric. Used during summer time, the traditional Ro and Sha fabrics are delicate and translucent fabrics where the weft yarn are made of cotton to give softness to the fabrics.
